On the Up Swing

So, last week was 6 weeks since the collar bone break.
I went down to go see the doc and get an x-ray. He mentioned to me prior that I might not even see anything on this x-ray since the mass that is filling in and around the gap is only visable when it starts to harden (calcify).
The great news is you can actually see a hazy line encircling around the break which means it is forming bone and it had started to calcify.
Doc said I could get rid of the brace and start regular activities, at low impact. Start some rehab and gradually gain the strength back.
At this stage it is still realatively easy to crack the mass that has started  to form but its also time to start testing it and giving it some stress.
No heavy lifting, impacts or jolts but I can ride my regular upright bikes. Yee Haa! So of course I started riding in the best weather available. Scattered rain, snow and cold. I don't really mind riding in not so ideal weather and the down time has got me to really appreciate just being able to ride, in any weather.
