Finally got her all pieced together last night, a few temporary parts and some compromising to get going but at least were riding. Tracey and I started thinking about this project last year with a purpose in mind. Well it's now official we have the bike and we will be lining up for the Tour Divide on June 12th and they even have a tandem challenge here. We now have a total of 89 tandem miles amoung us by the end of next month hopefully we will have over 3000!
On our maiden voyage today we had a blast. The bike is incredibly stable and stiff, no real whippy feeling. We started working on some communication commands and just getting use to the wieght of the other being shifted around, pretty natural feeling actually. We certainly have lots to learn but with not one bicker during todays ride I think we are on our way to many of fun miles.Me and my little lady, so close all the time.
